Working with Imago Dei to commission your next work of art is an invigorating experience. Each concept is inspired by scripture and then refined through community. From narratives to abstract our different artists will be able to work with you and your committee to ensure that the proper work is designed and executed in accordance with the overall design and doctrine of your parish or congregation.
✽ Our artists have been known to tie tier brushes to their hands when doing ceiling work as all blood flow can cause brushes to fall to the floor far below.
✽ Legend has it that the Venetians invented Venetian plaster as a way to make the walls of the city look like marble because heavy marble walls would have made the city sink.

Art and creativity abounds in the Jewish & Christian scriptures.There are many examples of God commissioning artworks in both representational and non-representational styles (eg. Ex. 25). These scriptures provide tremendous creative liberty to the artist while also declaring the vocation a blessed one.
While we take great pride in our work’s ability to create emotive concepts, we humbly accept God’s interaction through our work when moving souls.
