Jamie & Jeremy Wells | Founders / Artists
Imago Dei was founded by Jeremy and Jamie Wells in 2001. Jamie's training is from the Rhode Island School of Design, where she received her degree in illustration. She went on to study classical painting and art history, in Rome, Italy before returning to her native Houston to paint professionally. Jeremy, also a professional artist, relocated his mural business from LA to Houston to join Jamie. Together, they have spent months at a time in the Italian countryside and in cities and towns across Europe, North and South America observing art and culture, and photographing the works and scenes that inspire them. Every free moment they have is spent living life to the fullest through sports and activities that they and their children can all enjoy be it surfing great waves in the gulf or pacific oceans to competitive races or simply enjoying a sunday afternoon at the museum.
