<description>I also was one of the cold and enthusiastic volunteers for the 4th day of building. Just being part of this amazing event was a wonderful eye opener. I am sure I was captured somewhere in the fast forward shots in the process of moving things from place to place. I was there to carry cabinets inside and tile and moved lumber and windows and other things from the truck to outside. Nothing particularly designer-ish. As a professional designer, I have never seen a house built so fast; but I now know how it can be done! I have worked many volunteer build sites for UM ARMY and Habitat for Humanity through ASID and my church. For this event, I came by myself just to participate and to join the 1,000&#039;s of others that were there the afternoon and evening shifts. Logistics, organization and a well oiled machine. I would love to hear the story from the builder&#039;s perspective.
Congratulations for participating as another of the volunteers. It was awesome.
