Imago Dei was
founded by Jeremy and Jamie Wells in 2001. Jamie's training is from
the renowned Rhode Island School of Design, where she received her
degree in illustration. She went on to study classical painting and
art history, in Rome, Italy before returning to her native Houston
to paint professionally. Jeremy came to Houston to join Jamie,
himself a well-traveled art enthusiast. Together, they have spent
months at a time in the Italian countryside and in cities and towns
across Europe, North and South America observing art and culture,
and photographing the works and scenes that inspire them. They take
great pride in their art's ability to create a sense of permanence,
knowing it will one day be your legacy.
